BAGHDAD, Iraq — Shiite militias are encouraging children as young as 6 to hurl stones and gasoline bombs at U.S. convoys, hoping to lure American troops into ambushes or provoke them into shooting back, U.S. soldiers say.

Gangs of up to 100 children assemble in Baghdad's Sadr City neighborhood, stronghold of radical Shiite cleric Muqtada al-Sadr and his Mahdi Army militia, and in nearby neighborhoods, U.S. officers said.

Here is an interesting story, a couple of years ago Daisy decided to enter the Slingshot market. Prior to them entering this market, they focused exclusively on air guns. Now that they've had such a bad experience, one has to wonder how much longer they'll keep making Slingshots?

(AXcess News) New York - The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission says Daisy Manufacturing Co., of Rogers, Ark. has recalled 104,500 slingshots and you'd never guess why.

According to the CPSC, Daisy's slingshots could put your eye out. Just like your mother always warned you about!

Apparently, Daisy Slingshots rubber band could slip out of its frame during use, the ball at the end of the tubing can strike the user, resulting in serious facial injuries.
