Triple-K Wallet Holster

Concealed Carry Wallet Style Holster by Triple-K Manufacturing

I'm always searching for excellent new concealed carry holsters, and this one really caught my attention when I saw it at a gun show. I have a huge collection of small-caliber pocket pistols, so purchasing this holster was pretty much a guarantee after I first saw it.

For those of you who don't know, North American Arms used to make a Wallet Holster similar to this one. The main difference between the NAA wallet holster and the Triple-K is that the NAA holster completely encased the gun, whereas the Triple-K exposes a portion of the gun. North American Arms stopped selling their wallet holster after the ATF ruled a pistol carried in one was an AOW, falling under the federal NFA rules.

The first thing that I noticed after taking out the Triple-K Wallet Holster was that it is extremely well made. The leather is high quality, and the workmanship on the stitching is perfect. Its obvious that this holster is made here in America, and that the people making it take great pride in their work. It really made me happy to see that there are still some craftsmen in this country who pride themselves in their work.

If you've ever carried a pocket pistol before, you know that they can be uncomfortable to carry if you do not carry them in a holster. There have been times when I've had my Beretta 21 in my pocket, sat down in my car, and felt the pressure from the gun pressing into my thigh. So if you are going to carry a pocket pistol, you need to choose a good holster. The Triple-K Wallet Holster is a perfect choice, as the leather is stiff enough to protect your thigh from being pressured by your gun.

If you decide to buy one of these holsters, you want to make sure that your gun will fit properly before you buy it. While I could squeeze my Keltec P-32 into this holster, it really did not fit properly. A pistol the size of a Beretta 21 however fits perfectly, and appears to be the right size for this holster. I was able to carry a Beretta 21 concealed in this holster all day long, and after the first hour or two I didn't even know it was there.

I decided to do some practice shooting with the Beretta 21 concealed in this Triple-K Wallet Holster. I was able to repeatedly draw my weapon and fire quickly and comfortably. As the Triple-K Wallet Holster has a hole at the business end, I decided to try and fire the gun inside of the holster. I was able to fire the first shot, but the second shot misfed due to the slide getting hung up ont he holster. I am confident that if I am carrying this holster with a Beretta 21 that I will be able to shoot quickly and on-target.

Factoring in the quality of workmanship, comfort in concealed carry, price, and all around "cool" factor I would recommend this holster to anyone who enjoys carrying pocket pistols for self defense.
