This is a story that shows that parents need to better police their children. Slingshots are great fun for responsible kids. Irresponsible kids like this asshole will ruin it for everyone else!

A 13-year-old boy who used a high powered
slingshot to fire lead pellets at a car is likely to be let off with a caution.
The boy was one of three children chased down and apprehended by their victim - a 41-year-old builder from Windsor called Jim.
The other two children aged seven and 11, involved in the incident on Luxford Rd in Mt Druitt about 11.20am on Wednesday are being disciplined by their parents, police said yesterday.
Jim and a workmate were driving along Luxford Rd in Mt Druitt about 11.50am on Wednesday when his ute was pelted with a lead fishing sinker fired by a 13 year old boy using a high powered sling shot.
The projectile missed the passenger window of the ute but caused a three inch deep dent in the pillar of the door.
Jim said he and his mate were shaken by what had happened and incensed by the attitude of the 13 year-old who had fired the shot.
"He could have killed us," Jim said.
"The guy who was in the car with me is having a baby in four months - he was pretty shaken up when he saw how close it was to hitting him in the head through the window,"
Jim chased after the seven year-old - catching up with him at his Mt Druitt home. The boy's father was "ashamed" of his son't actions and promised to discipline him over it.
Jim's mate managed to corner the other two boys. The 11-year-old's mother pushed for her son to be charged over the offence as a way of pulling him into line, Jim said.
But the 13-year-old became "cocky" as soon as police arrived about ten minutes after Jim and his mate called them.
"Police said he knows his rights he knows he can't be locked up. We 'know' him. He's got attitude," he said.
"The police were there and the mother of the 11-year-old and they let me ripped it into these kids. The 11 year-old was upset and he seemed like a good boy and I said to him 'what are you doing hanging around with someone like this (the 13-year-old). I don't know if the 13-year-old even cared."
Police said that a sling shot and pen knife found on the 13-year-old had both been confiscated by police and that he was being dealt under the Young Offenders Act.
Chief Inspector Mark Cook said it was the first time police had had dealings with the 13-year-old and he may be dealt with by way of a caution.
Meanwhile three 17-year-old were arrested on Wednesday for allegedly throwing rocks at cars off an overpass.
Motorists called police to the pedestrian overpass at Cowpasture Rd at Bossley Park about 4.30am.
Police chased a group of youths - arrested three 17-year-olds found hiding in nearby scrub. All three later allegedly confessed to throwing the rocks but they are yet to be charged over it.
