Stories Found In The News
Publishers of the Clemson University school newspaper are holding a controversial raffle in which the winner will receive an AK-47 rifle, according to a Local 6 News report.

The campus newspaper is holding the AK-47 raffle to make a point about the Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, according to a Local 6 News report. Despite some protests over the unique raffle, university officals are not stopping the event. They said students should be allowed to exercise their rights, according to the Local 6 News report.

"We're hoping with this event we will show people the AK-47 is no more dangerous than a knife or a car," student Andrew Davis said.

Money raised from the drawing will pay for the newspaper's printing costs.
